Young white men (like me) do not give a flying fuck about boomer culture war shit. "Trans the kids" fear mongering works for the folks on life support watching Fox at Sunrise Senior Living. Address the cost of living crisis and stop endless foreign wars or SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Realistically, tonight is the end of MAGA. There will be a long, slow, annoying, painful epilogue, but it's done. I don't know what will replace it. It might be worse. But this is Trump's swan song.

In the end, young men weren't evenly split. They voted for Democrats by *24 points.* The entire raison d'être for the "based right" undone in one evening.
Yeah sex is great but have you ever heard someone tell Steve Bannon that exit polls show that young men are evenly split between Dems and Republicans and he goes silent and then says, in a very soft voice: "that can't be right"

It’s funny the same fools who say libertarian type stuff and advocate for crazy individualistic rights like guns will turn around with this crap. No. If a society had to subjugate half the species to survive it’s better off going extinct!

You’re lying. Women are generally worse off after divorce than while married. Especially compared to men.
If women didn't get financial benefits from divorce, the divorce rate would drop by 95% overnight. Tell me I'm lying.

I wish I could develop some ironic detachment or resign myself to a kind of apathy about the guy, but since I seem to lack that ability, I'm stuck every day with the realization that I live in an unserious country filled with unserious people who twice elected this living breathing malignancy.

Historian of fascism here. This is an escalation of an attempt to normalize extreme violence, ritualize violence, militarize the country, and make violence entertaining so when they ask you to commit violence in their name, you will be ready.
Trump & Hegseth aren't just proposing to livestream an execution for people who want to watch. They're proposing to broadcast a man being shot to death, even if deserved by our system, and even if you agree with this version of the death penalty, knowing that the footage will be clipped, shared, and pushed into social media feeds. Including those of our children. The gruesome image will be everywhere. Parents will have virtually no control over whether their kids see it. Once those images are released, there is no taking them back. Hope all the parents in the Trump Admin are cool with that.

Not only has the US never televised public executions in its history, but not even the Nazi defendants sentenced to death at the Nuremberg trials had their executions televised (it was deemed violative of the human rights that post-WW2 institutions were trying to re-establish). The most amazing part of this is that Nidal Hasan is paraplegic and close to 60. So this disgusting spectacle will involve rolling him out in a wheelchair, then live-streaming his body as it's pumped full of bullets. When I and others pointed out last night that public executions are carried out only by the countries we're told are the most primitive and savage (Afghanistan, North Korea), MAGA enthusisasts replied that we were too weak. Pummeling an old guy in a wheelchair with bullets -- as a reality TV show -- seems like an odd and dubious defintion of "strength," let alone an expression of the western values they endlessly claim they and they alone are trying to salvage.

"She consented to the threesome." "What about the gang rape that happened after?" "Look a text with her saying she consented to the threesome." "What about the gang rape? Or when they lied about it?" "Oh wow. Another text consenting to the threesome. Her lawyer is so fucked"

After all of the hate and vitriol that Megyn Kelly has spread over many years against women like Michelle Obama,Blake Lively, Amber Heard, Meghan Markle, Cornell Jane Doe and many others . And when Mary needed a husband God gave her a man who'd raise a son that wasn't his.
When Adam needed a wife, God didn’t hand him a single mother of three. He gave him a virgin.

Claude discovered something in biology. Nobody knows what it does. But we already have the press release. Anthropic gave hundreds of AI agents access to enormous biological datasets. They searched. They compared. They found an unusual enzyme system humans apparently hadn’t noticed before. That’s impressive. But here’s where AI hype and science separate. Finding something interesting isn’t the same as understanding it. Understanding it isn’t the same as showing it works. And showing it works isn’t the same as making it useful. Anthropic says they still don’t know the system’s function. So now comes the boring part. Make it. Test it. Break it. Repeat it. Understand it. Generate evidence. AI just made finding interesting needles in enormous haystacks much faster. Great. Now someone still has to find out whether the needle actually does anything.
