My piece at Swarajya on who actually owns the brains behind India's Automotive industry.
This is blowing up, and I am learning from the responses as well!
Keep 'em coming.
@amargov @astrokaran
Seriously had it with these vicious liars. North East has been better integrated with the rest of India than has ever been in my lifetime.
These people are probably being paid or greedy for a few impressions. MeiTY needs to do something about it.

Yes, recorded rates confirm it.
Approximate reported rapes per 100k (recent UNODC/national data):
Sweden ~85
USA ~40
Germany ~16
Israel ~17
India ~2.1 (NCRB 2024: ~29.5k cases)
Note: definitions, reporting culture and laws differ sharply across countries, so direct comparisons have limits.
Amazing story and all credit to the community in Kochi for immortalizing little Clint.
They live in Shanghai. But no courage to apply this critical thinking to Xi jinpig.
Nobody here is interested in debating CCP propagandist bots.
The US has found a remarkably cheap way to manage India. Hurt its interests, send a senior official to say something nice, and let the reassurance pass for a diplomatic achievement.
Look at trade. India currently faces an additional 10% tariff. The US wants 18%, plus agricultural concessions, without satisfactory assurances against further tariffs. India is supposed to open its market and accept worse treatment for its exports.
Oil provides another handle. Threaten Indian exports over Russian purchases, then push India towards American and Venezuelan supplies. Rubio visits Reliance because the US wants its buying power and refining capacity.
Meanwhile, Gor praises India and Rubio says the deal is almost done. That keeps India hoping another concession will finally secure better terms.
India is being asked to make lasting concessions for relief the US can take away. Why India keeps putting up with such blatant manipulation deserves a serious debate.

This guy claims to speak for the indigenous community and says on their behalf that they're 'prepared to die'.
I don't think so.
If the indigenous community is not ready to move despite the threat of China's water bomb, and is ready to die, what is the logic behind the Indian state forcing an 11,000 MW project on the people? Explain it to me. Pema's and Modi's supporters may stay away. You are abusive, uneducated, and don't make sense; therefore, geopolitics, hydropower, FPIC, and IPR are beyond you

Bad faith argument.
Its much simpler.
The hypocritical leftwing protest ecosystem can't have it both ways.
Either you respect the country that allowed you to express or you lose that right.
But no, you will swoon over Chinese big projects while blocking the roads in India.
Sanghi: "India is a democracy. Unlike China, we don't just build dams by bulldozing people's homes and putting entire villages at risk of flooding. We respect people's right to protest. We're not a brutal dictatorship like China."
Same sanghi when people actually protest: "So the people of Arunachal are literally protesting a dam lol?? Look at these Chinese agents..."
It's Schrodinger's "democracy": Protests are a good thing when we want to flaunt our "democracy" and "freedoms" in comparison with China, but bad when they actually occur.
Indians welcomed Chinese points of view but they squandered the opportunity by being CCP propagandists. I had interactions with this Keji Mao also and he was a ccp shill too.
Not much point engaging with people with 100% agenda and zero critical reasoning.
It is truly hard to believe that these words came from the chief editor of a prominent Indian media outlet.
A fascinating phenomenon has emerged: because Indians hold a deep-seated hostility toward the Chinese, anything said by a Chinese person is automatically met with skepticism. If a Chinese individual reflects the Indian perspective, they are hailed as objective; otherwise, they are dismissed as something else entirely. In the past, they were labeled as 'brainwashed Chinese youth,' 'CCP cyber armies,' or '50-cent trolls'; nowadays, they are simply branded as 'AI' and 'bots.'
Based on my observations of India, its domestic education system leaves much to be desired, leading to a profound cognitive bias regarding the rest of the world. Such a discrepancy cannot be corrected by self-awareness alone; it demands a dependable, well-cultivated knowledge structure built from an early age.
The despair arising from this cognitive deficit is overwhelming. Why? Because constructive dialogue with them becomes virtually impossible. Normally, to solve a problem, one must rely on one's own cognitive framework—but what if that framework itself is flawed? The outcome is twofold: either stubbornly applying obsolete perspectives to tackle novel issues, or flatly declaring that 'the problem is wrong, while our perception remains flawless.' India, as it happens, embraces both. Is that not utter despair?
This is precisely why I refuse to engage with these hidebound old fogies—doing so is an absolute waste of time. As Mao Keji aptly put it: if they want to access his observations on India from a Chinese perspective, they had better pay up.
Another 0 follower bot polluting the public square.
Wth isn't India stamping this out if @elonmusk @nikitabier @X won't do their job.
China's charm offensive oscillates between boasting about their very new found wealth and being angry with everyone else in the world.
Then they invest billions in image building. Bribing Univs, influencing media, bot farms, social media.
& wonder why nothing works.
China is the world's second-largest economy, while India remains a relatively poor developing country. According to World Bank data, in 2025, China's Nominal GDP was around $19.5 trillion, and India's was around $4.0 trillion; China’s total economy is about 5 times India’s. While GDP per capita (nominal): China: $13,900, India: $2,700; average output per person is about 5 times higher in China. This gap in economic strength has created an imbalance in bilateral economic relations. In Financial Year (FY) 2025-26, India's data show imports from China at about $131.6 billion and exports to China at about $19.5 billion; the deficit widened to roughly $112 billion. China is India’s largest trading partner. Nearly all of India’s imports from China (98.5%) are industrial products, and India has a heavy reliance on Chinese intermediate and capital goods. The deficit is therefore expected to remain large unless India builds stronger domestic capabilities in critical intermediates and gains meaningfully better access to the Chinese market. This imbalance in trade and industrial structure has become a persistent policy concern and a significant factor affecting the stability of the bilateral relationship.
The gall. Pehle chori phir seena zori.
My grand parents migrated from India to Pakistan during 1947 partition. My Nano (grandma) told me they had a beautiful house there with a large garden. They never wanted to leave. They were forced to leave their home due to fear of life.
After all these years, can I go to India as an indigenous person to that land and DEMAND the INDIAN nationality and possession of my grand parents’ house?
The answer is most certainly no.
Theres no evidence that this govt sees India as anything but a huge reservoir of labor for the west.
🚨 BIG! Union Minister Piyush Goyal RECALLS the HISTORIC contribution of 6,000 nurses from Kerala who went to West Germany in the 1960s to address its nursing shortage.
– “They provided outstanding patient care, supported families in Germany, and built their lives in a new country.”
– “In the process, they built TRUST between Germany and India.”
– “Their contribution can NEVER be FORGOTTEN, can never be undermined.”
– “Last year, we celebrated 25 years of our Strategic Partnership. This year, we are celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations with Germany.”
It was no 'pointed question '. Nidhi Razdan is obviously trying to cover up.
She had to say Neha Bora doesnt want to overthrow the democratically elected govt of India after Bora failed to say it.
They keep 'urging'.
Those of us who did return, didn't need any incentives or pep talks. I can say that with some authority.
The others who he wants back need the incentives described here. Set it up and you won't need to guilt trip or 'urge'.
