Insightful and useful thread about living on space stations and the absurdity of billionaires escaping Earthly disaster in space. Also why NASA is best-suited to do space stuff, and why they ought to be better-funded.

Does this mean the “party of law & order” will no longer support his candidacy? Or will Republicans just continue to flaunt their hypocrisy and offer him (literal) special privilege?

Elected official, unable to run with “outside agitators” narrative, pivots to calling for the mass killing of college students (described as “monsters”).
The NYPD confirms that 99% of arrests at NYU were indeed students, not ‘outside agitators’. The sad reality is that our schools are producing monsters, and it’s now our job to slay them. Simple as that.
And the schools and faculty who sit at the top of this chaos must be razed along with them.
They’re not interested in solutions, as their literature makes crystal clear. It’s going to be messy, but it’s also going to be worth it. They’re leaving us with no choice though.
Time to make our educational institutions about education again.

Great thread on quasi-moons, and how it turns out that not only does Venus have one, Earth has several!
Radiolab just ran a piece about quasi-moon Zoozve (the subject of this thread):

Last January, I noticed something peculiar in my 2yo’s bedroom that - after a year of obsessive reporting - led me to a profound cosmic revelation about what’s even possible in our universe. A 🧵.
