uh-oh I broke buildbot and now the downloads are unavailable
please remain clam DO NOT PICNIC this is fine
Please note that the latest versions of Overviewer require 1.17 textures, even if the world you're rendering is 1.16.
We have moved our IRC channel to @liberachat! The website has been updated to reflect this. If you still see the old embedded webchat, do a hard-reload (ctrl+shift+r)
If you get a warning from your web browser while downloading Overviewer saying that it's malware, rest assured that it is not. It's once again a false positive detection from Microsoft, which has already been removed, but hasn't been picked up by browsers yet.
Sadly, @Microsoft comes up with a new false detection for Overviewer about once a day now. It's very annoying to have to report it to them each time, but there's nothing else we can really do. We are completely at their mercy to not make false statements about the software.
After first breaking the old Overviewer Windows build with their fmod garbage (that they still haven't fixed), @Microsoft has now declared the new Overviewer build malware in a clear false-positive identification.
I am very close to just dropping all Windows support. Clown OS.
There currently is an issue affecting our Windows builds, preventing them from being run. We'll try to get it resolved soon.
Overviewer 0.15 is out, supporting Minecraft 1.15!

Please make sure your Overviewer version is up-to-date before reporting issues, we get about two people each day now who are reporting the same thing that has already been fixed and it's starting to get annoying.
Minecraft 1.15 worlds should work now, some adjustments to the biome reading code needed to be made.
We're aware of an issue relating to numpy that currently impacts our newest Windows builds. We'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you can use the older build from 6 days ago: overviewer.org/builds/win64/…
The issue is currently being tracked here in case you want to know more: github.com/overviewer/Minecr…
