In 1978, a young Jadav Payeng aged about 16 witnessed a flood on Majuli Island India, on the sandbar he saw wildlife pass away from extreme heat as there were no trees left for shelter He started to plant trees daily, until decades later, it became an entire forest and wildlife like elephants and tigers called it home The story of a great man

Sharing for Kingston. To save his life. “Kingston means "king's town" ... but his reality couldn't be further from that. Instead of a kingdom, he has a kennel. Instead of a family, he has people who walk past him. Every single day. Kingston is only one year old. Just a baby. And he is the sweetest boy. Gentle, loving, playful, and so full of love to give. He is dog friendly, amazing with kids, and everything about him says "perfect family dog." Right now, Kingston is on the urgent list. And somehow... not one person has ever stopped to meet him. Not one person has ever asked to take Kingston out of his kennel. They walk by while he spins, jumps, and moves nonstop. They see chaos. They don't see stress. They don't see fear. They don't see a young dog losing his mind in an overwhelming environment. This is not excitement. This is kennel stress. This is what happens when a loving, energetic dog is trapped behind bars with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. If someone would just stop. If someone would just ask to meet him. They would see the real Kingston. Take him outside and he softens. A sweet, gentle, playful boy who loves fetch and proudly brings the ball back, dropping it right at your feet every time. A dog who wants to be close. A dog who wants to belong. He is sweet. He is gentle. He is playful. And, he does not deserve to be invisible. We don't know how Kingston is with cats. But we do know he deserves a home, a family, and a life that finally matches his name. He is running out of time. This is who he is!! Please stop scrolling. Please share Kingston. Please help him be seen.” 🙏 I shared this post from @ Sharing Lov3 on Tik Tok in hopes it helps Kingston be seen and be saved. Details on Kingston in the comments.

The Hall of Fame Era Committee meets this Sunday, December 7th. Dale Murphy needs 12 of 16 votes. You never know who will see this and their vote may be the one that puts Murph over the top. Please retweet if you love Murph and believe he deserves to be honored in Cooperstown.

11 days since he was told he had to be put to sleep instead little Stormzy is taking very delicate steps. The bandana might seem small but it’s now part of his identity. Along with his name, his recovery and the love he is getting it is part of having his dignity back ❤️

Please join me in remembering Ken Beckman, a World War II veteran and retired U.S. Air Force Colonel who flew 48 missions during WWll as a navigator aboard B-17 "Flying Fortress" bombers. He passed away this morning at age 103. 🇺🇸🫡

Every time I see Erika Kirk speak, my heart goes out to her. The pain she must feel inside must be unbearable, but she’s putting it aside to memorialize and celebrate her husband, who was torn from her just a little over a month ago. She’s showing strength they didn’t know she had. God bless her.

Mr. President, please consider Gary Sinise for the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I can’t think of a more noble civilian in America.
Gary Sinise, known for his role as Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump, has raised over $300 million to support wounded veterans.

There are multiple lessons here in this simple exchange 👏👏
"We were standing outside a restaurant, waiting for our table, when my daughter Macie spotted a soldier walking by. In her quiet, sincere little voice, she said, “Thank you for your service.” He didn’t hear her. She looked up at me, disappointed—but too shy to say it again. When he came back out, I caught his attention and told him what she’d said. He smiled, thanked us, and walked to his car. But then… he turned around. He walked back, knelt beside Macie, and said, “Can you hold on to something for me?” Then, gently, he removed the American flag patch from his uniform and placed it in her small hands. She held it like it was treasure. A simple moment. A powerful lesson. That day, my daughter didn’t just meet a soldier— She learned what honor looks like. Not from a speech. But from a man who listened, and gave her something she’ll never forget." [Darren McMaster via Linkedin]
