A World Cup should be a celebration of the nations represented by the players in the game. Have a two tier WC (established/emerging) and a large cash prize for both. Do away with the wallopings and get some competition (and variety) in there.

Maybe because it’s the fact I support a lot of shite teams, but I see very little point in a team that is cleary in a different league, walloping a hapless opponent. Honestly makes me change the channel. Is it that bad to go easy and coast once you’re up by 30 against amateurs?
