OP's Tav points at a masked bandit in Baldur's Gate 3, as Astarion readies his rapier. TAV: Kill that guy, Astarion! Make him wish he was never born! OP's Tav then changes his mind. A cursor hovers over his portrait in the party bar and clicks. Astarion whips his head around to glare at Tav, who is now highlighted. TAV: ...Actually, I changed my mind. Maybe it would be better if I applied a buff or a debuff first, so we can maximize your damage potential... Tav is then stabbed violently through the chest by a smiling Astarion, who rolled a crit. ASTARION: Your last save was an hour ago, Doll <3

I found it. The hidden gem comic I've been overlooking this whole time. It's Tales of Alderwood by @medli20 It comes down to the writing. The two main characters interacting is the perfect blend of humorous and drama-filled. It's perfect show don't tell. Top tier comic for sure.
