SUCCESS STORY - AFTER NEARLY 2.5 DECADES OF DIABETES, BOTH ARE NOW OFF INSULIN!
This is a particularly satisfying success story from Muscat, Oman.
A couple who have been living with type 2 diabetes for 2.5 decades enrolled in my metabolic health coaching programme in April 2026.
Thanks Dr Narayan for the referral.

Both were on multiple diabetes medications, including daily insulin injections, despite which they wanted to improve their metabolic health and reduce their dependence on medication.
An additional challenge?
Both are strict vegetarians who do not consume eggs either.
We started an individualised vegetarian low-carb approach, adapted to their food preferences, lifestyle and medical needs.
Around six months later, the results have been extremely encouraging!

And most importantly, both are thrilled to be free from daily insulin injections after so many years of living with diabetes.
After nearly three decades of diabetes, they are making encouraging progress. There is still work to be done, but what a difference six months can make!

रुचिका गहरोत्रा 14 वर्षीय टेनिस खिलाड़ी थी।अपनी सहेली आराधना के साथ प्रैक्टिस करने गई थी।उस समय टेनिस एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष आईपीएस अधिकारी एसपीएस राठौड़ ने उन्हें देखा तो अपने रूम में बुलाया।आराधना को एसपीएस राठौड़ ने ये कहकर बाहर भेज दिया की जाओ कोच को बुलाकर लाओ।वो अकेली रुचिका के पास आया और उसका हाथ पकड़ कर खींच लिया और छेड़ छाड़ करने लगा।रुचिका चिल्लायी तो उसकी सहेली आराधना आई और उसने भी ये सब देखा।एसपीएस राठौड़ ने उनको धमकाया की किसी को बताया तो बहुत बुरा होगा।लेकिन रुचिका,उसकी सहेली और उनके परिवार ने हिम्मत दिखायी और पुलिस में कंप्लेंट दे दी।उस कंप्लेंट पर तो कोई एक्शन हुआ नहीं उल्टा रुचिका के भाई पर चोरी के झूठे मुकदमे लगा दिए गए और थर्ड डिग्री टार्चर किया गया।उसके भाई को नंगा करके उसके घर के आगे से लेकर जाते ताकि रुचिका टूट जाये।पुलिस वाले सिंपल ड्रेस में रुचिका के घर जाते।धमका कर आते।उसको स्कूल से निकलवा दिया।टेनिस पे रोक लगवा दी।रुचिका डिप्रेशन में चली गई और एक दिन उसने अपनी जान दे दी।उस समय की कांग्रेस और चौटाला सरकारों ने राठौड़ के ख़िलाफ़ कोई कार्यवाही तो छोड़ो उसे प्रमोशंस दी।उसे डीजीपी तक बना दिया।लेकिन परिवार क़ानूनी लड़ाई लड़ता रहा और 2008 में राठौड़ को कोर्ट से सजा करवायी।उस समय की सरकारें लोकतांत्रिक सरकारें थे और अब तानाशाही चल रही है।

पंजाब में सब सही चल रहा था.! अकाली दल को रोकने के लिए इंदिरा गाँधी एक विकल्प ढूंढ रही थी.! फिर उन्हें भिंडरावाले मिला, उसको दिल्ली बुला कर बकायादा संजय गाँधी ने साक्षात्कार लेकर अपने काम के लिए तैयार किया..!!
फिर इनका प्यादा भिंडरावाले महत्वकांक्षी हो गये और ऊपर से पाकिस्तान ने भी उसके सर पर हाथ रख दिया, उसे ख़ालि स्तान का सपना दिखाया और फिर वह कांग्रेस के हाथों से निकल गया..!!

प्रभाकरण बाकायदा RAW के अफसरों के साथ घूमता था.! मैंने कहीं पढ़ा था कि वह महू के आर्मी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र भी गया था..!!
यह 80 के दशक के शुरुआत की बात है.! LTTE दिन प्रतिदिन घातक होता चला गया.... क्योंकि उन्हें आर्मी स्तर का प्रशिक्षण और हथियार दिए जा रहे थे..!!
इंदिरा गाँधी की ह त्या हुई और उसके बाद खेल बिगड़ने लगा.! राजीव गाँधी ने श्रीलंका सरकार और LTTE के बीच बात करवाई, लेकिन बात बनी नहीं.! LTTE को लगने लगा था कि राजीव गाँधी उनके साथ खेल कर रहे हैं..!!
और जल्दी ही वह समय भी आया जब इंदिरा गाँधी द्वारा पोषित LTTE का प्रभाकरण उनके बेटे का सबसे बड़ा दुश्मन बन गया था..!!
राजीव गाँधी ने पीस कीपिंग फ़ोर्स श्रीलंका भेज दी वो भी बिना किसी तैयारी के.... कश्मीर के पहाड़ो पर तैनात यूनिट को रातो-रात श्रीलंका के जंगलो में तैनात किया गया.! हमारे 1,165 सैनिक शहीद हो गए थे इस पूरी प्रक्रिया में..!!
और इसके बाद तो LTTE और भारतीय सरकार के रिश्ते बेहद ख़राब हो गए थे, जिसका परिणीति राजीव गाँधी की ह त्या में हुई..!!
अब आप ही बताइये क्या यह देश के लिए क़ुर बानी थी.... या अपने

Almost in last 2 years , I have taken 4 eggs daily for 480 days (Except Monday and Tuesday) . My blood markers are very normal as of now and the plan is to continue as it is .. @shashiiyengar has kept me out of all synthetic medicines for T2 diabetics and m doing extremely good now . @lowcarbusa @Metabolic1992 @DeeptaNagpal
