I really like all IndyCar drivers. Sometimes they do bummer things but I annoy *myself* with things I do. May we bear with one another. We're each hopefully becoming better than we've been - which often unfolds through mistakes. May we make room for others to grow through theirs.

Tire deg at Iowa was substantial, lap times increasing ~0.25s per 10 laps, but not all had the same experience: @12WillPower and @smclaughlin93 had nearly identical pace early in the stint, but McLaughlin lost pace more dramatically, losing ~0.25s/lap to Power by the end #IndyCar

It was @ColtonHerta topping the charts in the final practice ahead of qualifying this afternoon in Toronto. Not only did he take P1, he also turned the best potential lap of the session, and was the only driver with a potential lap under 60 seconds.

Limited data to look at before the race, but it does seem to suggest that we'll see some sharp pace drop-off pretty early in red tire stints at the @detroitgp. The ability of drivers to manage this drop-off play a significant role today. #IndyCar

Only time will tell how today's qualifying session will play out, but in yesterday's opening practice at the @detroitgp, @KKirkwoodRacing and @PatricioOWard's best actual laps were better than anyone else's best potential lap.

In what will be a busy weekend for the #IndyCar rookie, @KKirkwoodRacing turned 2 of the fastest 3 laps at the end of the opening practice at @detroitgp. The driver of his future @FollowAndretti seat, @AlexanderRossi, showed strong pace as well, finishing 3rd on the leaderboard.
