I feel like I'm in the minority on this, but I would LOVE if Lisa or Betsy invested in Underworld. I understand that it's been done in the past, but a lot of the things they're doing are showing how Lisa and Betsy are different, that they support Carla because they love her with no ulterior motives #Corrie #Swarla

Literally yes. This isn’t real life, it’s a soap. I want to be entertained, and none of these make for interesting storylines. The characterization of Ryan in the past year, year and a half is dull. He has no depth anymore, no purpose. Is that down to the writing? Sure. But if they can’t figure out how to use him, cut him loose 🤷‍♀️

The problem with #Corrie right now is that for so many of their stories, there's no point, because there's no consequences. Why am I going to get invested in the Idris and Carla storyline when I know Underworld is never going to be in actual danger? Why am I going to get invested in Sarah's murder of Theo and the subsequent trial when I know she's going to get off? Why am I going to get invested in Sally and this Lucy intruder storyline when I know Sally will be fine and Lucy will be revealed as the one that murdered her mom? There's no consequences to anything and therefore, it's hard to actually get invested in the storylines.
