the thing with non-horror specific sites like ign making horror lists is you’re never gonna get anything more than surface level, most popular on imdb ass takes

psycho and tenebrae are such cheat answers too lmao, ones a giallo and the other was released 18 years before the first “true” slasher. if you’re including giallo movies in particular they would dominate this list😭

I think at least a good quarter of "horror" fans on twitter actually don't like horror at all and would benefit themselves and the rest of us by picking another genre to watch and direct their eternal quest for moral superiority toward.

anyway clayface was fine. i wasn’t particularly satisfied as either a big horror fan or a big dc fan but it’s cool dc is making movies like this nonetheless. tom rhys harries is fantastic though i adore him so so so SO much in this movie

i just saw clayface in a packed cinema and this is gonna sound super snobby horror gatekeeper of me but i fucking hate seeing more mainstream horror movies in cinemas, the audiences are always so obnoxious

a significant amount of people talked the whole way through, shouting “oh shit” everytime something ‘scary’ happened and just laughing at scenes that are so clearly not meant to be funny. if you can’t react in silence or at the very least react quietly then watch it at home

food and drinks consumed in a movie theater doesn't really go into your body. it goes into your movie theater body which is separate & holy and harm-proof
