Fireboy gave us “Fighting,” and I bet he has no idea how much it takes me back to the nostalgic feeling of “I’ll Be Fine.” It feels like “Fighting” is the sequel to “I’ll Be Fine,” the continuation of a beautiful story.
The boldness to say what you do now❤️
Forever a fan 📌
I remember around 2016, an old friend who had just moved to the US called me and was asking “how’s Nigeria”. I was using a small Nokia phone at the time, when I heard that question, I opened the back cover of the phone and pulled out the battery whilst he was still on the call 😂

And when you are tired of being the strong one, may God send you people who know how to care for you, too.

Wherever I am in the next 2-5 years, I pray I'm genuinely happy, successful, and living a life that once felt impossible. ❤️

Mama, that man passed away and left the woman with kids. If, at some point, the house needs to be sold to take care of them or send them to school, that option should be on the table. All the family members shouting now will not contribute a kobo to take care of the kids. That house is her house, too.
