Hi Bob and @defense_diaries the chaplain saying “alluded.” Red had just said to her that she couldn’t say, “So and so said.…” So, she was saying “alluded” to indicate what generally was said. Not a perfect solution, but it seemed obvious when I heard it.

Yes!! @EvidenceProf. Not only are the roadside tests junk science (in New Jersey, they’re only good to show probable cause for the Alcotest), so is the science of breathe alcohol. There is no scientific link between breath alcohol and intoxication.

On Rabia’s point: I’ve defended cases in New Jersey, where the defendant came up with .0 alcohol, and no drugs in the urine test and the state move forward with prosecution on the argument that the test does not cover all drugs, and the officer’s believe the person is intoxicated

#NEPTA how Crime Dawg and Carlos Delgado are almost the EXACT same player with an identical rWAR/162 of 3.5. Crime Dawg has slightly more counting stats but also 425 more games played. Delgado leads in all rate stats except BA where he trails by .004.#DelgadoForTheHall @notgaetti

every time I see an Angels highlight it's like "Mike Trout hit three homes runs and raised his average to .528 while Shohei Ohtani did something that hasn't been done since 'Tungsten Arm' O'Doyle of the 1921 Akron Groomsmen, as the Tigers defeated the Angels 8-3"

NEPTA Phil Niekro (not even @notgaetti) and his RHS in 1978. How can a Hall of Famer within a 97 career rWAR have a random huge season? By garnering over 10% of his total career WAR in his year 39 season.
Happy April! We’re starting the month with some great MLB birthdays today: Career WAR leader: Phil Niekro (95.9) HR leader: Rusty Staub (292) Active WAR leader: Daniel Murphy (20.8) Random Cup-of-Coffee: Jake Jaeckel (1-0, 0.00 ERA, 0.875 WHIP in 8 innings for the ‘64 Cubs)

Question for stat guru @notgaetti, because I don’t have the skill to figure this out: how has Shohei Ohtani historically hit relative to the days he pitches? I was thinking perhaps day of–when he might be distracted, and day after—when he might be fatigued, versus any other day.

With the Mets dominating NL East, just rewatched Once Upon a Time in Queens in which @LennyDykstra is a star.

The most upsetting thing about this, @notgaetti, is that someone is paying Tony Wage Theft to endorse something.

#NEPTA how Roberto Clemente sits right there at 3,000 hits like the welcoming committee for each and every new member of the 3,000 hit club. @notgaetti

#NEPTA Moe Berg, @notgaetti ?
Moe Berg travelled to Switzerland to attend a lecture by the eminent German physicist Werner Heisenberg. Berg`s mission was to determine how close the Nazis were to an operational atomic bomb, & if they were close, he was to shoot Heisenberg and then kill himself. But after listening to the lecture, Berg decided they were not all that close, & his mission was aborted. Instead of killing him, Berg walked Heisenberg back to his hotel, picking his brain about physics along the way. For his work with the OSS during World War 2, Berg was awarded the "Medal of Freedom". Moe Berg turned it down!! "Maybe I’m not in the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame like so many of my baseball buddies, but I’m happy I had the chance to play pro ball and am especially proud of my contributions to my country. Perhaps I could not hit like Babe Ruth, but I spoke more languages than he did" Moe Berg Hero & Legend In my HOF!!

Really disappointing to see you go Trumpy in your response.
Today's decision is yet more proof that political prosecutions have no place in New Jersey or our nation. By dismissing this case, the judge has made it clear that these innocent individuals, including George Norcross and Dana Redd, should never have been indicted. Now, the political establishment can turn its attention to New Jersey's pressing issues, such as making New Jersey more affordable.

People who were purged by Stalin used to write to him saying that it must be a mistake and asking for help.
Do these people think they are going to get an exception because they are Trumpers? The leopard is not going to put your face back on.
