Avert yer burning eyes! 📛👀🧯] Well, that's it: 203 individual story beats, each painstakingly and remorselessly analyzed in the light of 15 individual core dramatic principles – and thereby optimized, strengthened, and burnished to within an in inch of its pulsing life. ¹ Now all I gotta do is write the GD thing(s). 👊🏼✒️🔥 ① This, the penultimate stage of story design, was as sloggy, painful, and seemingly interminable as ever – but somehow took a lot longer this time around. (Probably because I'm old and tired and slowing down.) But, also as always, it was not just insanely valuable to strengthening the final work – but indispensable. Oh! happy Friday, all.
