The good faith critique of this is If you are a socialist (hard to believe) then you’re in Labour because either: you still believe it can change despite it moving further to the right over the past 50 years. Or, it’s tribal loyalty and mentally unable to see a way out.
It’s time to rejoin the Labour Party. Please rejoin/join Labour & Momentum to defeat Reform, help determine the direction of Burnham’s Labour Party and build a socialist force in British politics.

Words cannot express the utter contempt I have them. I say that as someone who gave it hundreds of pounds I didn’t have in 2017-2019. It’s no coincidence it emerged at the same time as Novara: Millennial careerists using people’s money and good intentions to get ahead in Labour
Burnham has laid out a bold vision for Britain. Now, we must turn his vision into action. Socialists are already organising across our movement. But we need you. It’s time for a socialist Labour Party ready to deliver change. Join Labour. Join Momentum mtm.is/join

Three paragraphs when two words would have done. "Revolving door."
Mr Polanski, I know you have a reputation for being scrupulous about checking your facts, but you’ve missed an important detail. My contract requires me to remain on leave from the Lords, surrender my parliamentary pass and forgo all access and voting rights for the duration of my employment at Palantir. I do not, therefore, take any whip. I fear this makes me rather less useful to the whips’ office than you imply.

As my man @comrade_kumar_ said recently, ‘for people who define themselves as good strategists, there’s no example of them ever developing one’. I’d only add, for people who see themselves as comms specialists, there’s no evidence of that if this clip is anything to go by.

Excuses will be made to support the Labour Party regardless, I'm sure.

ask's us for financial support. This has seriously got me thinking about the way Novara operates. How are Novara bringing in a new kind of politics if, when push comes to shove, they are always going to go along with the parameters defined by the establishment? 7/7

“most British Marxists have long ceased to attend to British actualities and, at a time of unparalleled socialist opportunity, play to each other their amateur revolutionary theatricals” - E.P. Thompson in 1975 - I'd say "Marxists", but otherwise, plus ça change ...

I understand where this line of thought comes from but i don't think it's useful at all. Putting aside existing literature, what's happening in Palestine is dependent on and structured by capitalism sure but we still have to describe it as something, if not genocide then what?

So Dr Jason Arday subscribed to Novara, only to see them call him a conman and mock him, same as the fascist and liberal press. Bastani couldn’t give two fucks what he helped do to a vulnerable man, he was back on his bs in record time. And it was all cover for Salem / Gove
On the latest @ATTRITIONPod, @comrade_kumar_ recalls @novaramedia’s role in the lynching of Jason, and why ‘leftist’ media who participated in the smears are particularly culpable.

“Hes got to…” does he? Does he got to, because I think either way he’s going to be fine. Worst come to worst he won’t be PM, he’ll cash in on his contacts and live extremely well. So he hasn’t got to anything really had he.

he’s completely moved on from arday and is back to denying he has ever done anything wrong. idk if i agree that the others are free of responsibility though. michael walker is also a massive cunt and all of them are willing to work with these people, and never criticise each other even when they should, for personal gain. i do like some of them but it becomes harder everyday to give them the benefit of the doubt.

We're right back in last decade's stupid and discredited argument that the global financial crash was caused by too many libraries in Wolverhampton. The bond markets turned on Truss because she promised huge unfunded tax cuts for the super rich, i.e, unproductive spending.
EXCLUSIVE: Andy Burnham must “take the knife” to public spending in the budget or risk a Liz Truss-style crisis that will “crater” the economy and the government’s popularity, an ally of the prime minister has warned Andy Haldane, a former chief economist at the Bank of England, said he feared the government would deliver a “mañana budget” that deferred the difficult decisions on public spending and “doesn’t speak to the urgency of now” In an interview with The Times, he said that Britain was “close to being taxed out and maxed out in terms of borrowing”. He spoke of concerns that the government was failing to grasp how “precarious” the fiscal position was He said that the government needs to cut the size of the state and reduce taxes if it were to “unleash the animal spirits and generate growth” Haldane warned Burnham that he cannot “vibe-code” his way to growth, and raised concerns about the gap between the government’s rhetoric and the reality. He said that the government was effectively deferring the “day of reckoning” He also said that the decision to increase taxes on banks could show that the government lacked the courage to cut public spending. He said the move was “penny wise, pound foolish” and sent a broader economic message that if businesses make profits “the taxman cometh” Haldane said that while Burnham had the potential to be a “great prime minister” who could serve two terms, the economy was his “blind spot”. He said that the fiscal situation facing Britain was “precarious” “The penny has not yet fully dropped, including in Downing Street,” he said. “You see that in us having the highest borrowing costs in the G7, despite not having the highest debts and deficits. “It’s the old Hemingway [Ernest Hemingway, the author] thing, isn’t it? How do you go bankrupt? First slowly, then very quickly. The biggest risk to Andy not transforming Britain, to not serving two terms, to not being seen in the history books as a great prime minister, is not political risk. “It’s not those who sit behind him. It’s probably not even those who sit opposite him in Westminster. Keir [Starmer] lost the dressing room. Andy’s biggest risk is that he loses the dealing room. And then that’s an even more painful way to go, as Liz Truss would tell you.” Andy Haldane: PM risks Truss-style crisis if he dodges tough choices thetimes.com/article/9b12c00…

Funny how The Mail On Sunday don’t quote my official response but only from my liable letter. My official statement: Zionism will join apartheid and Jim Crow in the ugly dustbin of history, and no amount of crocodile tears will change that.

Lib Dem @michaeljswalker sits down for a chat with Gordon Brown's former economic advisor (and good friend of James Meadway). Here he outlines the economic philosophy of Novara which is 'feasible radicalism' which just equates to centrism. Same media for the same politics.
