We started this account as an international group of microbiologists (mostly students, but also postdocs and PIs) exploring what it would mean to do a journal club synchronously over Twitter, 2 of us rebooted it during the covid lockdowns on YouTube, and now we're leaving Twitter

We posted updates here, but we also started using Mastodon. For a time we cross-posted our toots from the fediverse to Twitter, but when API changes broke that software we realized that we felt like our community was more on the fediverse than on this network.
