I’m in love with this sentence:
“The art of not being ready and doing it anyway will take you so far.”

Sometimes the only difference between you and the people doing big things is just a lack of information.

Results either Nullify or Justify efforts.
We pray against wasted efforts this new week.

When you japa, praying abroad is different , your prayer points will change 100%.
You don’t pray for NEPA to bring light. I remember in 2004, we once prayed in church during a vigil for Nepa to bring electricity because the generator broke down and there was no electricity and God answered.
You don’t pray for water to run or for basic amenities to work , they already do.
You don’t pray against accidents because the roads are good and systems are in place. Accidents may happen, but it’s rare for them to be fatal.
You don’t pray against kidnappers, robbery, or insecurity, the environment is structured and relatively safe.
You don’t pray for good governance systems work whether you know anyone or not.
You don’t pray for salary to be paid, it comes when it should, no delays.
You don’t pray for “connection” before getting opportunities systems reward structure and merit.
You don’t pray for jobs the same way because jobs exist if you position yourself well.
Instead…
You start praying for direction.
You pray for discipline.
You pray for consistency.
You pray against loneliness and depression.
You pray for strength to survive the cold, the silence, and the pressure.
You pray for wisdom to manage money and not waste opportunities.
You pray for speed because time abroad moves fast and bills don’t wait.
You pray for relevance, so you don’t become stagnant.
You pray for favour in spaces where nobody knows you.
You pray for purpose , because survival is no longer the goal.
You pray for impact.
That’s the real shift.
From praying to survive…
To praying to become.

My father often times tells me that good trees don't last in the forest.
Dear Lord, Please keep this old man for me to enjoy the fruits of his labour in good health and wealth.
This parable mess with my head everytime.

As a man, you need to get married early because the older you get, the wiser you become and once you become too wise, you will never get married. 😭

Good morning, my people.
May somebody have good news to share before this week ends. An offer. An admission. A customer who pays. A conversation that ends better than you expected.
And when your own news comes, may you have someone to call who will be happy for you without needing to calculate what your progress means for theirs.
To everyone with an interview, an exam, a presentation or a difficult conversation this week, wishing you a clear head and the right words.
To those still looking for something to look forward to, you are welcome here too.
Have a good Monday. All of us.
