Hello everyone. I am very excired to announce AFM Studio, the best way to test AI models and providers on macOS and iOS. The project is open source and contributions are welcome and encouraged. You can learn more and try it out by visiting the repo at github.com/Techopolis/AFM-St… We have support for the system model, PCC, and Core AI models currently. This even includes our own model registry that will be updated often. Enjoy! #buildInPublic, #OpenSource, #AppleAI

Grok Bot from @SpaceXSI and @cursor_ai are changing how I code. I only had one build error today and was coding without my Mac. It fixed so many routing and UI issues in Perspective Intelligence. Pro Tip: Let your bots be your coding experts and have them spawn coding agents.

One major request is for Live Activities on iOS to show up from Grok Bot when a task is started. I currently have to start a cloud agent in Grok Bot, which is my preferred app, then open the Cursor app to get the live activity to show up.

Cursor with the Grok models seem to do better for AI work than Opus 5.5 and Astra have in the past.

I see so many in the industry comparing the iPhone Duo to the Samsung folding phones and saying that Samsung makes a better phone, and I'm sure they do. The real reason to buy an iPhone Duo is that it is a folding phone that runs iOS, and this is big if you are an iOS fan. Most people do not hop between platforms.

I'm glad that Apple made a statement about the iPhone Duo issues, but it is about what I thought. AppleCare is an essential investment for any device you buy from them.

Want to keep track of how many times you open iPhone Duo? Download the first Shortcut, turn on Automation, and it will use iOS 27 storage actions to add +1 every time you open it. Run the second Shortcut and it will tell you how many times!

I've tried Wispr Flow and a bunch of other dictation apps, and the new Perspective Transcribe keyboard is easily my favorite. It works in any app, it's fast and accurate, and everything runs on-device, so your words never leave your phone. I'm honestly impressed with how well it keeps up when I talk.

I think I am going to set my Duo to play a sound when I open and close the inner screen. What sound should I use?

I think my only concern is the screen issues I have been seeing online. I will immediately have AppleCare, but I still hope this doesn't happen to mine.

I Went to the Apple Store at Barton Creek yesterday to try the iPhone Duo, and I was really impressed. I love the size, especially that it isn't too tall. The inner screen looks super clear even with the nano-texture layer. The speakers didn't seem quite as good as on the Pro models, but I'll know more once mine shows up. I can't wait to get my Duo!

Perspective Transcribe 3.0 is out today! 🎙️ It's ready for iPhone Duo, so you get full transcripts on the big unfolded screen. There's also a brand-new dictation keyboard, which means you can talk instead of type in any app. All of it runs on-device and stays private. Go grab it: apps.apple.com/app/perspecti…

Large AI tools are great for humans because we know that everything related to Reminders is in one tool. This is not good for AI models as they have to think about how to do certain things with reminders. Think of it as a multi-tool where you have to figure out the right gadget for the job. Make multiple tools for AI, and it will understand how to complete a task much easier and much faster.

Don't forget to make small purposeful tools if building with Apple Foundation Models. I built a huge reminders tool that was difficult for the model to process. Small focussed tools with clear descriptions will work much better for more models in the long run.
