32 YEARS IN THE MAKING 🥈🇺🇲 Miles Nesmith soars to 16.79m to claim World U20 silver in the men’s triple jump — the best finish by an American in the event since Leonard Cobb in 1994. His mark also ties Willie Banks at No. 5 on the U.S. U20 all-time list. 🔥

I’ve been blessed to cover some amazing athletes in my career. And Central’s Miles Nesmith is right up there with the very best. What this kid does in the triple jump is hard for my little brain to comprehend. It looks like he’s just kind of cruising and the next you, there’s 53-plus on the board. Really excited to see what he does at the U20 worlds next month.
