I feel this honestly. I tend to use they/them when refering to someone I don't know or someone I do know but end up forgetting what their pronouns are/they changed their pronouns recently. It doesn't come from the intention of malice but rather respect. 1/2

Hey guys, just wanted to apologise for any cases of accidental misuse of pronouns like they/them where not appropriate! I have a habit of using them to refer to people whose pronouns I don't know and sometimes it bleeds over into people I do know which is completely my bad.
