Car lanes transport the fewest people per hour and are the least efficient. Cycle lanes move 7,500 people p/h; bus lanes can move 8,000 p/h. To reduce gridlock, we should not prioritise cars, in areas where car ownership is low. In Inner London 62% of households are car-free.

For those who comment on close passes saying "but he didn't hit you". Every close pass risks death or injury. Cyclists are no protected by over two tonnes of metal, glass and plastic with seat belts, air bags and crumple zones.

We live in a society where 20 yr olds can rent Lamborghinis, drive them at 140mph, kill their friend, try every trick in the drivers’ book to evade justice and clutch our pearls continuously about some people riding a 15kg bike at 5mph through red lights bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6dx…

The biggest benefits claimant in the UK. They claim an eye watering £17,500,000,000 a year. The same as 4.4m people on benefits. How? Because they claim ALL their costs, every wage, every oil rig, every tanker. Completely nationalised, but the profits are Privatised.
At what point do we stop focusing on who needs to pay more tax and start asking where all of our tax money is going.

Nearly 30,000 people were killed or seriously injured on Britain’s roads last year. That should shape where police focus, not the latest outrage. It’s time to push the facts to the front. By me in @spectator: spectator.com/article/its-ti…

May those who live, work or holiday on top of this have nightmares about what lies beneath them. May they imagine the cries of the dying and may it keep them awake at night.
The Gaza Strip, Israel are bulldozing it, pouring sand over all the bodies then building on top of it. While the world does nothing.

“Living standards are falling for us.” Yet UK banks just posted £29bn in half-year profits. Lloyds’ profits jumped 99% to £2.3bn as mortgage rates hit 6%, while Shell doubled its profits to £8bn. This isn’t just an economic crisis; it’s a wealth transfer.

Crazy to think that the number of people killed by motorists *in supermarket car parks alone* is greater than the number of people killed by cyclists *anywhere*, yet our focus is always solely on the latter
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in a supermarket car park in Sunbury-on-Thames, police have said. More here: bbc.in/4A3V6X9

The reason the world is upset with Israel is because of the 700,000+ innocent Palestinians they’ve murdered. It’s not because they’re Jewish. Hope that helps.

Critics of floating bus stops have never been concerned with the everyday dangers of crossing roads, overlooking risks to both able-bodied and disabled pedestrians. In 2025, London recorded 7,593 hit-and-run incidents with motorised vehicles; it's just more anti-cycling rhetoric
The floating bus stops around cycle lanes, which are death traps for blind and disabled people, are all the evidence we need our woke mayor does not give a damn about people who are actually vulnerable (as opposed to people who tick an identity box)
