Milo to Mint NFTs of Award-Winning Entries from Major Environmental Contests in Partnership with Detizen Milo, a blockchain-based unified reward point management platform, is set to mint NFTs of award-winning entries from the Environmental Diary Contest, organized by iM Financial Group, and the Korea Environmental Love Contest, hosted by the Korea Environment Corporation and sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, in partnership with Detizen. This collaboration aims to enhance the uniqueness and collectible value of contest-winning works by integrating blockchain technology. By enabling creators to archive and preserve their works as NFTs and utilize them in diverse ways, the project is expected to contribute to spreading a sustainable contest culture that merges environmental protection with digital innovation, while also establishing a new model for contest operations. Recently, Milo and Detizen have jointly planned crypto-themed contests and issued NFTs to winners of contests held by Detizen, providing blockchain-based technical support within an agreed scope. Detizen, Milo’s partner, is Korea’s leading contest platform with over 20 years of experience. It provides contest information and related content to three million university students across the country. In line with the Web 3.0 era, Detizen is actively pursuing crypto contest and NFT initiatives, supporting NFT issuance for submitted works, use of NFTs as employment references, and ownership and sale of awarded NFTs — all aimed at fostering a creator-centered contest culture.
