with the cornell case and the reactions ive seen- as someone with an extremely long history of sexual trauma i feel i should speak up. TW i started being sexually abused at age 12. probably even before. ive been a survivor of every kind of rape, molestation, coercion, sexual abuse, grooming, etc. it doesnt matter what you wear it doesnt matter how you do your makeup it doesnt matter your profession it can happen to anyone and everyone. was i asking for it at 12 years old? not even a teenager? that wore long sweaters and skinny jeans? no. i would not wish this harm abuse psychological damage to ANYONE if you have experienced it- you are never alone. and it is never your fault. the universe will deal with these monsters accordingly all we can do is speak up, seek help, find community and forgive YOURSELF because it is never in anyway your fault. <3
