The hysterical and hyperbolic demonization of Israel has led to a global outbreak of antisemitic vitriol, vandalism, and violence. The single most monstrous manifestation of antisemitism is a pogrom that is presently unfolding against hundreds of Jews who were cheering on the Tel Aviv Football Club in Amsterdam.
Those inciting antisemitism now have the blood of a 21st-century pogrom on their hands. The situation is so dire that the Israeli government is dispatching rescue teams for Jews in danger. I am sick to my stomach that a pogrom is happening in the 21st century.

As I wrote last week, now is not the time to be writing eulogies for American democracy. Last night was not the end of a story. The most dangerous thing you can do if you're scared about what comes next is to give up and disengage from civic life.

Folks, Americans have been voting for a “change” to the presidential status quo for 20 years. Only exception was Obama 2012, and his support declined from 2008.
Democracy = a top voting issue now.
The state of democracy and the U.S. economy were top issues to voters as they cast their 2024 ballots, preliminary results from the @NBCNews Exit Poll show.
Women were twice as likely as men to rank abortion as their top issue, according to the results. nbcnews.com/politics/2024-el…

Today, hundreds of thousands of election workers and millions of volunteers will be working a very long day to ensure that every American citizen has a voice in who governs them. Join me in thanking them for their service. No election is perfect, but they do a great job ensuring our elections are secure, your vote will be safe and convenient, and your vote will matter. Even if it's close, we will know who accurately won, thanks to our election workers!

Thanks to @60Minutes for allowing me to explain why we know elections are free, fair, safe and accurate in the United States. And for those that haven’t yet, get out and vote.
“The reason we have ballots is to avoid bullets. And if you say, ‘Ballots don't matter anymore,’ there's only one logical direction to go,” says Gabriel Sterling, the Republican chief operating officer for the Georgia secretary of state. cbsn.ws/3CdGzj9

So it’s understood, Biden dropping out will not impact Georgia ballots. As the Democrats haven’t had a convention, there is no “nominee” to replace. Trump/Vance will be on the ballot along with Oliver for the Libertarians. Whomever the Democrats nominate will be on as well. (1/2)

Can I please give you a tour of our election facility and mail voting process (Maricopa County, AZ)?
You can go into all the rooms.
You can examine all the equipment.
You can ask any question you want.
We'd love to show you the security steps already in place, which I think are very sound.
And then of course we'd love to hear any recommendations for improvement (as long as consistent with state and federal law -- which we don't write, but have to follow).
Would be pretty neat to put one of the world's best entrepreneurial brains on to election administration.
Probably more productive than just social media analysis.
Thanks very much for considering!

Hi Aubrey!
Thanks for reaching out.
You changed your voter registration on the last day of voter registration (Feb. 20) from your Chandler address to your new Tempe address.
Because early ballots must go out on Feb. 21, your Chandler ballot was already set to go out, and so it did.
Then we sent out a new ballot to your Tempe address when we processed your voter registration modification.
That's why you had to redact out different lengths in the address (because they were sent to different addresses).
You'll also notice that one of packet codes ends in "01" (the one to your old address) and one ends in "02" (the one sent to your new address). As soon as the "02" one goes out, the "01" packet is dead. Meaning even if you sent it back, it wouldn't proceed to signature verification, and it wouldn't be opened. That's how we prevent people from voting twice.
So just use the one with your new address ending in "02" -- that's the only one that will work.
Hope this helps! Have a great night! Happy voting!
