If you think the price of gallium is high, the European price of germanium is about 4 times higher at ~$8,000,000 per tonne. They’re in a panic…

Gallium trades at roughly $2,100 a kilogram in Western warehouses. Inside China it is about $247.
That is a gap of about 8 times, according to Asia Times reporting on chip-grade minerals.
China's gallium exports fell to 350 kg in August from 7,200 kg in July, according to Chinese customs data. Every kilogram of the August total went to South Korea.
The US Defense Department is putting $174 million into a gallium plant at Alcoa's Wagerup refinery in Australia, targeting 100 tonnes a year.
1,257 meters of copper-bearing mineralization in a single drill hole.
At $ALDE.V Aldebaran’s Altar project in Argentina, ALD-26-267 returned 1,257.30 m at 0.66% copper equivalent (CuEq), starting at 135.7 m downhole.
Inside that interval: 513 m at 1.06% CuEq.
Inside that: 214 m at 1.57% CuEq.
Five of the six holes in the September 9 release returned reported intervals between 939.30 m and 1,354 m.
How do those results stack up against Aldebaran’s drilling history?
CEO.CA Plus flags ALD-26-267’s interval in the top 5% of the company’s results recorded in the database, and the single most valuable hole as measured by Metal Value per Meter.
In its September 9 release, Aldebaran said it expected an updated resource estimate in October.

Close to $11 billion a year in gold revenue is stuck in Canada's permitting queue. Fifteen projects, all with published reserves.
They hold 36.6 million ounces and would add around 2.5 million ounces a year, a 35% to 40% increase on Canada's current output.
On S&P Global's sample, Canada is among the slowest countries in the world for mine development, at 27 years from discovery to production.
In five cases the only thing between the owner and a construction decision is one government signature.
Two of the fifteen are on a fast track.
A falling share price tests your nerve. It doesn't tell you whether your original thesis still holds.
So what has actually changed?
🔺Have new results strengthened the case or raised questions?
🔺 Are insiders buying with their own money?
🔺 Is private-placement stock approaching its free-trading date?
CEO.CA Plus gives you all three.
Two million drill results ranked against each company's own history, real-time SEDI filings, and lock-up expiries tracked across your watchlist.
You might find a reason to stay invested. You might find a reason to reconsider.
The point is deciding on the evidence rather than the chart.

When a stock you own falls on no news, there's usually a reason – and it was public the whole time.
Private placements sell discounted shares to insiders and early money. Those shares come with a lock-up, and when it expires, they can be sold into the market.
Most retail investors don't track these dates, and the selling often starts before they know why.
CEO.CA Plus tracks private placement lock-up expiries across the Canadian market.
A week before the selling can start, you already know it's coming.

Colombia scraps 10 mining restrictions to lure investors dlvr.it/TVJrgX
$1.12 billion of restricted stock unlocks across 54 companies this week.
When a company raises money through a private placement, it sells shares at a set price, often below market. In Canada, those shares are typically locked up for four months and a day.
When that hold expires, the stock becomes free trading, and sometimes, that means pressure.
It's not a sell signal. But knowing the date ahead of time beats being surprised by it.
CEO Plus tracks every upcoming unlock with a live countdown on each company's page.

Devan Murugan from Mining.com sits with Michael Oliver, who believes the next major move in monetary metals will be led by silver. Oliver says silver’s run from $50 to $100 and briefly $120 was only the initial breakout from a 50-year range, not the end of the move. In his view, silver has already begun outperforming gold and could see a “furious recovery” as it catches up with metals like copper, which has risen from around $1 historically to about $6.50 today.

Mining is the cheapest way to invest in AI right now, according to @TaviCosta.
Costa, founder of Azuria Capital, says mining's share of global equity markets has shrunk to a margin of error, and he expects that to change drastically as institutions shift from ignoring the sector to calling it critical.

Amazes me that no one is mentioning this as a solution.
Want to restore confidence in the Treasury market?
Put something real behind it.
Announce a massive gold-purchase program.
This would be a far better use of taxpayer dollars than another QE policy dressed up under a different name.
I am dead serious.
The Treasury market is desperate for a credible collateral anchor.
The United States once held more gold than the rest of the world combined.
US gold reserves now stand at a 90-year low relative to the country’s debt burden, with gold backing just 3% of total debt — while the rest of the world is buying at a historic pace.
Enough of this.
The bond market is screaming for monetary discipline.
This is our easiest way out, perhaps the only way out.
The US can no longer simply stop spending without triggering an economic depression.
Accumulate real money. Strengthen the Treasury’s balance sheet. Restore confidence in the bond market.
Start there.

This is why my favorite stocks to own are gold/silver producers. They benefit from the following:
1) Highly elastic to higher gold/silver prices.
2) Their FCF multiples will expand as they improve their balance sheet.
3) They can grow production four ways:
A) Expand production at an existing mine.
B) Build a new mine (development pipeline).
C) Exploration (find a new mine).
D) Acquisitions (buy a mine).

"We today have the same levels of debt that we had back in World War II. The difference is that back in World War II, about 50% of the Treasury market was backed by gold. Today it's about 3%," said @TaviCosta.
He believes that gap between debt and gold backing is now closing.
