Lionsgate asked me to create a poster for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. After seeing the film, I immediately wanted to draw on the anguish in Käthe Kollwitz’s work and the psychedelic, ornamental poster language of Tadanori Yokoo. Bringing these seemingly disparate approaches together felt right for The Hunger Games: violence is packaged as pastel-colored propaganda, and nature is laced with poison-perfumed flowers.

ALT The image is a colorful, surreal illustration for "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping." It features a person surrounded by an array of vibrant flowers and butterflies, with swirling, dreamlike patterns in the background. Above, there's a figure in red holding a bow and arrow. The scene blends natural and fantastical elements.
