(quietly) this isnt another Hella Mega situation because hella mega came at a time where fob was least inspired and there was prob Hella (no pun intended) label pressure to follow through with such a Big Bill tour. fob since coming back with sm(f)s has been (1/2)
they were a product of the mid 2000s mall emo scene. they performed at a hollister for crying out loud. the mall is a relic of a time before online shopping. a digital age thats also had its effects on music. if this isnt a album it could be a commentary on the industry.
which falls in line with the idea that a fob project may not be an album. I have an appreciation toward that. but again im just rambling. and potentially "coping". i still want FOB9 and believe that is what's coming but if not, hey, I think this idea is cool
very adamant on not wanting to conform to being a nostalgia act and that the only times you'll see them out on tour is when they have something they want to share with the world.
