Mix FM

Hey @ClassicHitsRadio , we disagree with Macklemore's politicisation of a live music event. But we're continuing to play both Macklemore and Ed Sheeran on air. Why? Because we're not crybabies like you.

Mix FM stands with @edsheeran on the non-politicisation of music. Politics doesn't belong in live shows. Music is meant to unite.

Salut @superbus__, pouvez-vous nous envoyer "Lola" s.v.p. en haute qualité, pour que nous puissions la mettre en antenne?

Hi @walkonmarsband we’d like to play your Stacy’s Mom parody on air. Would you be able to send us a copy please?

At Mix FM we don't enter the culture wars. We don't care about getting a 'rainbow tick' or wading into discussions on women's issues. We don't take sides on trans issues. We don't use derogatory terms of any sort. We just play the best music we can. stream.mixfm.nz

Here at Mix FM, we will not adopt the @BSA_NZ guidelines. We use the term woman to mean adult human female and man to mean adult human male. Pronouns will be either the person's preferred pronouns or their actual pronouns (based on biology) depending on case.

It's midday, so for the lunch hour we'll be playing some classic tracks from the 60s, 70s and 80s. It's our feel-good lunch hour. Listen live here: stream.mixfm.nz

Hi @hindleysccmusic, community radio station here in New Zealand. Blown away by your covers on YouTube. Would we be able to put some of your covers on air please?

We have removed Lorde from our playlist. Just like that.

Hey @maisiehpeters you haven't sent us Cate's Brother yet.

As you can see, we still regularly play @AvrilLavigne here at Wellington's Best Music, Mix FM.

Welcome to Tuesday, 8 March. Fun fact: Today is “Be Nasty Day”, If ever there was a holiday or observance to NOT participate in, it’s Be Nasty Day! On this day, we all have an excuse to be rude, mean, spiteful, or difficult to be around.
