Offered same day appointment for ear issue and still unhappy. The NHS certainly has its issues but not being able to schedule an appointment like it’s your hairdresser if a same day appointment doesn’t work for you isn’t up there

Did an "eConsultation" thing on the NHS app with my GP.
GP asks if I can come in at 4.45 today. I said no I'm not available but I can do tomorrow around 4pm.
GP tells me the diary is not open for tomorrow. Got to ring first thing in the morning.
So the GP wants to see me, but I can't book the appointment.
The NHS is probably the worst health service in Europe.
It is not fixable.

And us here in America, we get the luxury of going to bed at night and have nice bedrooms and things paid for.”
