Madonna says Michael Jackson was painfully shy because he didn’t like the way he looked. Speaking with Howard Stern, Madonna reflected on her connection with the King of Pop, saying he was never comfortable with how people perceived him. “I think he felt eternally tortured by people,” she said, adding that he was “never happy with the way he looked” and found it difficult to look people in the eyes. Madonna said she tried to make him feel accepted and wanted him to know she wasn’t judging him. She also believes growing up famous from childhood meant Jackson never really got to experience a normal childhood. Behind Michael Jackson’s worldwide fame, Madonna says she saw a deeply shy man who struggled with his own image.

❤️‍🩹 | Michael Jackson está presente no This Is Thriller!

wow rarely seen! #MichaelJackson and Bush in White House, thank you @OnMJFootsteps : On May 1st, 1992, Michael Jackson was at the White House to be recognized as a Points of Light Ambassador by President George H.W.Bush. He first had lunch with President, met him and the First Lady, Barbara Bush, privately, and gave a brief speech during the ceremony.onmjfootsteps.com/2026/10/23…

For the June 2026 quarter, Lionsgate saw overall revenue jump 48%, and its movie segment posted income of $105 million for the period. That was driven by Michael Jackson biopic “Michael,” which is the studio’s biggest movie at the box office to date and the first biopic to top $1 billion in theatrical release.
