WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are set to announce a $25 million program today to encourage the public to blow the whistle on suspected fraud in the federal government as they ramp up an existing effort to end the abuse of federal programs and dollars.
Will they still get the money if they find the fraud is coming from inside of the White House? or Mara-Lago?

If Donald Trump is going to try to buy votes, he'll have to do better than this:
President Donald Trump says his administration will make one-time payments of $90 per person to help more than 20 million Medicare enrollees pay for their Part B premiums. It will cost about $2 billion. Less than one-third of all Medicare recipients are eligible for the payments, which are expected to be sent out this week.
It is costing more than $90 per month for out-of-pockets costs due to changes made to Medicare.

An off-duty Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, 32-year-old David Gonzalez of Texas, was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman and her father after he was found sleeping on their lawn, according to police.
The woman told her 72-year-old father, with whom she lives, and he "went outside to send Gonzalez on his way," Fresno police said in a statement. When Gonzalez woke up, he "appeared intoxicated and agitated" and allegedly assaulted the father, police said.
"When the victim's daughter tried to intervene on her father's behalf, Gonzalez physically attacked her, at which time she went to the ground," police said.
The father shot the agent during the altercation, wounding him, police said.
The woman called her boyfriend, an off-duty police officer, who arrived and placed Gonzalez in handcuffs, according to Fresno police.
Gonzalez was transported from the scene via an ambulance for treatment. He is currently in custody for felony assault charges, police said.
