🌿✨ Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day! Minnesota is home to numerous Indigenous nations. For thousands of years, the region's waterways served as routes for transportation, sources of food and connections for trade between Native nations.
At the Arboretum, explore the ongoing Dakota Sacred Hoop Walk, an augmented reality experience. Created by Spirit Lake Dakota digital artist Marlena Myles, the experience features five stops, beginning in the Harrison Sculpture Garden. The walk honors Dakota history, culture, and the land's significance through art and storytelling.📱📖
