Cedar Point Pier upgrade work is still underway, but it'll be temporarily opened during the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo weekend from 5 a.m. Friday, July 18, through 7 p.m. Sunday, July 20. It'll close again until the upgrades are completed, which should take a few more weeks.
