Congrats to the Wrangell School District for being a recipient of the @EPA Clean School Bus Program, created by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Wrangell’s new electric school bus will help the school district continue to operate efficient and safe school bus routes.
♥️♥️♥️
Honored that my journey in this country can be told today. In 12 days for the first time I will cast my vote in the US. I hope that I can inspire many more voters who, like me, want to defend the health of our children and communities. #SoyLatinoSiVoto newsweek.com/new-americans-c…

Electric school buses are officially rolling your way! In every state plus DC, thanks to new federal funding.
.@CleanAirMoms @mollyrauch in @washingtonpost: “It doesn’t make sense to send our kids to school on buses that create brain-harming, lung-harming, cancer-causing...pollution." That's why parents are excited to see #CleanRide4Kids coming to their districts. wapo.st/3SF4cn2

$1 billion in new federal funding for clean buses, going to every state and DC. This will help transform the largest mass transit fleet in America, the iconic yellow school bus. @VP speaking in Seattle right now about #EV buses #cleanride4kids

Listening to @VP talk school buses in Seattle. 95% of our school buses are fueled by diesel. Diesel=cancer, asthma, learning problems. Should this be the experience for our children? #cleanrideforkids

After a 25 mile bike ride through the DC area on a hot day, @mollyrauch's lungs hurt. She later learned ozone in the air that day probably caused her symptoms. Molly tells @sustaindefined that this experience is partly what brought her to @CleanAirMoms. ➡️bit.ly/3rJHgZ1

WATCH this @CleanAirMoms & @enviRN webinar about the importance of strong tailpipe pollution protections. @EPA needs to take action on cleaning up climate pollution from light duty vehicles for Model Years 2027 and later. 🚘 Moms want #cleanercars!
🧵Some personal news: I’m taking a 6-month sabbatical, starting now. These past 3 years have been the most professionally meaningful of my life, but they’ve also deeply broken me. The pandemic isn’t over, but after a long time spent staring into the sun, I need to blink. 1/
