Two years ago today, the NY Times published "Screams Without Words," a historically disgraceful piece of Israeli propaganda filled with demonstrably bogus claims of "gender based violence" on Oct 7 challenged even by families of the deceased
We were first to expose the Times' journalistic malpractice, and the paper has never addressed the issues we raised
The lead author of the debunked article, Jeffrey Gettleman, has faced no consequences for his embellishments and reliance on falsified testimony
After dismantling a NY Times feature alleging “a broader pattern of gender-based violence on Oct. 7” by Hamas, The Grayzone’s @MaxBlumenthal and @aaronjmate demand the paper explain its severe acts of journalistic malpractice thegrayzone.com/2024/01/10/q…

In late April 2024, more than 50 tenured journalism professors from U.S. universities urged The New York Times to “immediately commission a group of journalism experts to conduct a thorough and full independent review” of how its December 2023 investigation into alleged sexual violence during the Oct. 7 attack was reported and edited, and to publish the findings.
Al Jazeera Fault Lines’ Laila Al-Arian notes the Times has neither conducted the review nor retracted the story 👇
Two years ago, @nytimes published the journalistic disaster “Screams Without Words.”
Its sources were discredited and key claims debunked, yet the Times never retracted it or apologized.
The piece caused immense harm and was used to justify the Gaza genocide.

It’s very funny that Jeffrey Epstein’s best friends are writing columns like, “Why Looking Into Jeffrey’s Epstein’s Best Friends Is Dangerous for America”

We live in a world where Ms Rachel has faced more pressure for defending Palestinian children than Israel has for slaughtering them.

So far we have successfully cost the NYT $60,000 in annual subscription revenue over Bret Stephens' horrible column. A drop in the bucket for them, but it's important to exact a price for pushing war propaganda.

I love that these Epstein/ NYT emails leaked on the same day that Ms. Rachel posted the questions sent to her by the New York Times.
The juxtaposition is absolutely perfect.
If you’re a convicted sexual predator with ties to Israeli intelligence, the New York Times goes out of its way to help you cover your ass.
If you’re a YouTuber in headbands and overalls who advocates for Palestinian children to not be blown up, the New York Times gives credence to evidence free accusations that you might be a “terrorist.”

Speaking of moral bankruptcy, here's Larry emailing his good friend Jeffrey Epstein:
I found this article by a former Harvard Crimson President very disturbing. The moral bankruptcy that led the Crimson to endorse BDS some time ago, without subsequent withdrawal, appears to have spread to the news pages.
(I have shared Stoll's article to several at the Crimson without substantive response and this tracks with the things I have observed.)
Many of the students I have engaged with at the Crimson have high integrity and smarts but I do hope alumni trustees will investigate and take any necessary steps lest a problematic situation deteriorate further.

One of the craziest things happening right now is how there's been report after report after report showing that Epstein really was an Israeli intelligence operative, based on publicly available documents, and yet it's had no measurable impact on mainstream media or politics.

The New York Times is the paper of record and has played a key role in enabling the Gaza genocide. To hold the newspaper accountable, we must sever our ties —not only as subscribers or advertisers, but also as writers who lend the paper legitimacy. mondoweiss.net/2025/11/why-w…

The BBC does know how to write a headline with certainty. Recall they ran a headline reading: "Hamas raped and mutilated women on 7 October." They later acknowledged they had no forensic evidence or video or photographs or anything else remotely conclusive to back up that headline, despite 10/7 being the most-filmed attack ever.
Now when a Palestinian is raped at length on video, and extensive medical documentation exists to attest to the attack, the BBC calls it "alleged abuse."
Possibly the most shameful @BBCNews act of cowardice yet- a report about IDF guards raping Palestinian prisoners which doesn't dare use the word 'rape'
