Had an OT come to spend a few hours with my daughter in order to provide a functional capacity assessment to assist with the disability support pension and NDIS. It went really well. Still more to do but I’m crossing everything this will help get her across over the line 🤞🏼
I’m so bloody proud of these lads, esp Conor. My kid has been good friends with him for years & he is destined for this. From reality tv show that none of them thought would go anywhere to slogging their guts out, writing 100s of songs & touring the world. The only way is up 🔥

We already get a great deal of mockery and disbelief, and very little social support, and yet somehow people are focusing on the alleged malingerers

Nope, that’s actually playing oppression Olympics, and we don’t do that. Acting as though people with the ability to be visible and self advocate, to have a voice and use a platform and use it help ALL disabled folks are taking attention away from people who can’t is nonsense.
