QUICK TIP: Use the BPM setting to automatically sync effects to the beat. This examples uses bulge and jitter with the bounce modulator.
QUICK TIP: for syncing effects to the beat, if you set the BPM to match the BPM of the audio, then modulators will use that time interval. This is using brightness and bulge with the bounce modulator.

I chose the comet as the subject of my project because I've always loved staring at space and dreaming. A comet is one thing almost every culture has looked up at and felt the same dread.
I wanted to see if thru the lens of syncretism I could help turn that ancient warning into wonder. Right now, comets (even a rare interstellar visitor) are streaking thru our solar system, stirring the same old fears. That synchronicity while being in a residency about syncretism seemed pretty hard to ignore.
By weaving science, lore, myth, memory, and energy with my art processes mixing traditional, glitch, and AI work, I was able to craft a short film that ruminates on the question:
What if the same light that once unified us in fear could now unify us in hope?
This is what came through.

Prompted Grok Imagine once, then kept feeding it the last frame to grow a chain of 6s clips. Stitched them in DaVinci Resolve, added grain/tape errors, muted the AI audio and dropped in a 30s extract of the track instead.
Also ran through @moshpro_app, using the audio from BETWEEN_LINES₍v0.1₎ as the modulator. The glitches, smears and frame-drag now react directly to the sound, so the train / figure / fog are being warped by the same signal that’s warping my hearing – a little APD-as-video, where the soundtrack literally pulls the image out of alignment.
