I'm so glad I grew up on comics and cartoons, where suspending disbelief was part of the experience.
These fake CinemaSins mfs only got into comic book media after it went mainstream and somehow convinced themselves that nitpicking everything is intellectual criticism. 🥱

Not recasting T'challa: they should have in BP2, but they didn't. The ship has now sailed on that. BP2 was a moving tribute to both the xter and the actor. Undoing that now (beyond an obvious, vulgar moneygrab) would be an act of great disrespect to both
#TheOdyssey made full unrelenting use of its studded cast. I imagined the film wld either ignore the mythical side of source or enthusiastically embrace it. It somehow did both. Really good movie, strong theme, excellent directing. Cinema isn't quite back, but it might be healing
