Well, no UPC for me. Only 4 were in one shop in my town, and though I got there to queue at 5.30am, four men had camped out together all night to get them. Pokémon is fucked. I hate this.
This hobby is so fucked. The lack of product, combined with the resellers and profiteers makes Pokémon a totally miserable experience as a collector. There were 8 people ahead of me in the queue, with over 3hrs to go. I ain't getting a UPC, it seems.
I am SO stressed about Pokémon release day, tomorrow.
I've got to choose which of the four options locally to queue at for hours, in the dark and cold, to be in with a chance of buying ONE item. Either a UPC or an ETB. Not both.
This hobby is fucked up.

Glorious day, at our special place. Still Clouded Yellows flying, plus c50 bird species. Goshawk, Peregrine, Chough, Dartford warbler, Gannets, Mediterranean Gull, Red-throated Divers, Scoters. And many kisses, in the wilds.
Boo & I went to the beach, to look for Snow Buntings. No luck there, but we saw a Merlin. Ate our sandwiches looking out to sea, with Skylarks streaming by, overhead.
Rain and wind over the sea. We sat with our telescopes and sandwiches and watched The Sky Move Sideways.
1st of 2 pre releases today. The Kommo-o deck is not easy, managing energies of four types. I did ok.
