My thoughts on how to adapt your software development lifecycle depending on the type of project or company you are working on. One size does not fit all. #softwareengineering #programming
I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.

Today I was struggling to get my wife's attention.
So, I sat down on the sofa and looked comfortable.

Behind every great product there’s at least one engineer who knows the entire stack, takes problems personally, and jumps in and solves them.
Without regard to ownership, credit, or chain of command.
If you don’t know who this is in your company, I have bad news for you…

Honest reflections from coding with AI so far as a non-engineer:
It can get you 70% of the way there, but that last 30% is frustrating. It keeps taking one step forward and two steps backward with new bugs, issues, etc.
If I knew how the code worked I could probably fix it myself. But since I don't, I question if I'm actually learning that much.
