I started out with “I’m just gonna write a quick trashy mafia romance just for funzies on a dare aaaaaand it’s turned into an empire building crime drama with romance and family secrets and high stakes crime politics with witty banter and dark humor sprinkled liberally on top”
New sticker design. My son requested I make him a “grumpy rain frog” and this was the result. Kid is super happy about it.
"Oh look, a STAWBRREY!"
Was working on a strawberry sticker, but I got frustrated as nothing looked good to me. Then I shouted "EFF IT!", tossed the digital pen across my desk, then drew the following using my mouse. It's terrible...but--I kinda love it...
West Virginia has had a rough winter and potholes are everywhere. I thought this illustration of a Cardinal that I am turning into a sticker sums up most of our state’s collective mood after emerging from Winter into Spring.

Rough concept sketch of this year's xmas card design. Working concept is "What cats see themselves as around Christmas trees"
Back in college, to help improve my illustration skills, I drew a webcomic based on my grumpy French Lop rabbit named Cookie. This is my favorite holiday one-shot I drew.
I stopped at a food truck I regularly order from. My husband likes refried beans added into his soft tacos. The lady cooking said “Ah, you have the husband who likes his frijoles!” Apparently they remember me, lol.
Why is it that disposable napkins get less functional the ‘fancier’ they get? Big pack of Great Value napkins work great, but a pack of fancy party napkins at twice the price can’t absorb anything.
Art reveal for the Mark VII Casper featured in the upcoming Rules of Engagement RPG book based on the 4HU book series. I’m so honored and excited to be involved in making art for this universe!
Watercolor sketch I made using the travel watercolor set I have affectionately dubbed “Swiss Army Palette”. $12 purchase from Walmart. Student grade so isn’t perfect, but it gets enough points from portability and novelty to be a recommendation for travel art.

While working on an art commission job I put on One Piece to binge in the background. I just had to stop drawing and stare at the screen. He’s got giraffe devil fruit power? Giraffe power?!?GIRAFFE 🦒 POWER?!?!? I think this anime finally broke me #ONEPIECE
Back in college I was president of a student geek club, and to raise funds for the club we sold stickers that said “It’s my fault Blackleaf died”.
I’m wondering why they didn’t give the movie to Bryce Dallas Howard or Deborah Chow. They directed some of my personal favorite episodes of The Mandalorian and deserve to be given a full length movie before an untested documentary director.
Remember when Kathleen Kennedy announced Patty Jenkins would be directing a SW movie & no one batted an eye because she had directed 1 popular superhero flick plus didn't pop off by insulting an entire gender that makes up a majority of the fandom. Your argument goes completely down the drain by that fact alone. This woman is completely unqualified and doesn't give a shit about SW. People pointing that out doesnt make them "threatened" it makes them right.
