It is okay to be a vigilant anti-war activist. It is okay to oppose militarism. It is okay to acknowledge that state violence begets more violence. Wage peace. Be unapologetic. Speak up.

You're talking about women of every race who for 6 years have organized & organized and donated & donated, without kudos, and saved this country from the GOP. Your job as a D leader is to listen to them, align yourself with them, and lead them into battle. Harris-Walz did this.

“I always tell people, buy the worst copy you can find…” A 1605 Geneva “breeches” Bible, owned by a Naomy Richman, with her initials to the boards. It looks as if it is trying to simultaneously eat itself & spit itself out, and, if I tried to collate it, would probably eat me.

This is a lie. I’m unapologetically pro-life and I’ll keep working to save as many lives as possible. I support exceptions for rape, incest, & life of the mom. @LizMathis1 supports elective abortion up until birth - she’s the only one in this race who is extreme on abortion.

By deputizing teachers to police families and denying trans students any semblance of safety, Glenn Youngkin is being very clear: If you don't raise your children to his liking, then he doesn't want Virginia to be a safe place to raise those children. nytimes.com/2022/09/18/us/vi…

The government helps rich people pay their loans every day
Here's a chart showing the distribution of benefits from student loan forgiveness. Just, kidding, it's the distribution of benefits from the mortgage interest deduction, which costs about $250 billion every 10 years (and will cost more if TCJA isn't extended after 2025)

In a legitimacy crisis, the solution Biden + Dem leaders must offer can’t just be one of voting, but of statute & authority. Compared to Exec + Leg branch, checks on Court overreach and misconduct are little to none. Leaders must share their plans for Roe AND a rogue court.

Do not underestimate the political power of being annoying. I worked for years in politics and government and I was very often the guy who answered the phone. There were a few people who would call ever single day to make or check in on their case, and if they weren’t – at Brooklyn, NY

MOST people have experienced bullying. most people don’t kill people. Also, have you ever seen a news outlet connect poverty, environment & mental wellness to an 18-year-old Black gang member or drug dealer? Must be nice to have that kind of humanity extended to you.

NEW: The real story behind the baby formula shortage is corporate greed. Abbott makes 43% of all formula. Its factory was shut down because it gamed safety tests & skipped repairs to cut costs. Instead, it spent ~$10 billion on dividends for wealthy shareholders since 2019.

Let me put it this way: a "fix the damn the grid" midterm campaign works *only* if your base is already fired up by adversarial national issues, as in 2018.

The D leadership obsession with infrastructure *as a political brand* is so misconceived, so obviously dooms the party & country to keep failing, that it is best understood as a form of corruption, moral and professional.
Dems convinced themselves a bipartisan road law was electoral dynamite for the same reason they convinced themselves “health care!” was electoral dynamite when Trump was president: it’s rationalized conflict aversion, where the easy path is reframed as pragmatic and even savvy.

If Biden addressed the young people of America; told them that the GOP was coming after their freedoms; announced a cancelation of all student debt; and asked for a historic mobilization that would elect more and better Democrats in November--well, the GOP wouldn't like it.
EVERY seat held by a Republican in the House and Senate is now in play. Every seat. Young voters, you can fix this all by yourself. Start something.
