It feels special being Ukrainian and realising Ukraine basically helped US elections by attacking Russian data centers and not letting Russian bots meddle in US elections .

Thank you, Britain! ❤️🇬🇧 The UK is launching a Ukrainian GCSE, so Ukrainian children who fled the war can now take their own language as a school exam. The schools minister even apologised to the kids who were once told to study Russian. That means a lot. More than 30,000 Ukrainian children have found a home in the UK, and this is exactly what friends do. Thank you.

Enough, I told myself. Chose exhibitions to visit in Kyiv, bought a ticket to an offline art lecture next week. Yes, it’s a long way across the Dnipro, from one bank to the other. Yes, I may see art by flashlight. Clothes trapped in the washing machine by a power outage sighed but agreed. Enough!

❗️Oleshky residents tell @KyivIndependent that local children were taken away to “the pit” by russian forces for secretly studying in online Ukrainian schools. This is happening to all the 1.6 mln children still trapped under russian occupation.

Well, I don’t know, man, but looking back at that February 2025 Oval Office shitshow, some 20 months later, one guy from that meeting is bombing Moscow and St. Petersburg on a daily basis, another has suffered a spectacular failure in Iran and a crushing electoral defeat, and the third, the one with the big mouth, may well have kissed his presidential ambitions goodbye. So, who had the cards?

Dear MAGA, let me explain something. You have been taught that anything with the word social in it is communism. It isn’t. Social Security isn’t communism. Medicare isn’t communism. And neither is the public school your children attend or the fire department that saves your house. Norway and Denmark are capitalist countries. People own businesses, buy houses, make fortunes, invest in stocks and own guns. The difference is that their governments make capitalism work for ordinary people, not just billionaires. Here is what that means in everyday life. You get cancer. You receive treatment without facing a ruinous hospital bill. Your wife has a baby. She gets months of paid parental leave. Your child wants to attend university. Tuition is free at public universities for eligible students. You work hard. You get five weeks of paid vacation. You lose your job. There is a safety net to help you get back on your feet And none of this requires giving up your house, your truck, your religion or your freedom. Now here is the part you really need to understand. You are already paying taxes. The question is what you get back. In Europe, more of that money comes back to ordinary families through healthcare, education and financial security. In America, politicians have convinced millions of working people that asking for those things is socialism, while demanding lower taxes for billionaires is freedom. You have been persuaded to fight against benefits you would personally enjoy, in order to protect fortunes you will never possess. Elon Musk does not need you to defend his wallet. Your family needs you to defend yours.

BREAKING: WHITE FLAG! Historic loser Donald Trump CAVES and says that he'll accept the blue tsunami and will try to work with Democrats. We won so big that he can't even claim it was rigged this time... “I am absolutely willing to accept those results,” Trump told The New York Times. He's already blaming his party's collapse at the ballot box on the candidates themselves, even though exit polls prove that Americans despise Trump and his policies. They're fed up with endless wars, high gas prices, and rampant corruption in the White House. “We’ll work with the Democrats, and we’ll, you know, look forward to working with them. We’ll probably work something out," Trump added. Of course, he'll have no choice but to "work" with Democrats because we now control the House and Senate. His somewhat conciliatory reaction to this overwhelming blowout shows that he's worried. He knows that we have subpoena power now and the moment that these new senators and representatives are sworn in, Democrats are going to launch a sprawling wave of investigations into his crimes. We also can't rule out the possibility that Trump will reverse course, cry foul, and try to claim the election was "stolen" in the coming days. But even then, he won't be able to do a thing now that we've won so big! Please ❤️ and share if you support mass investigations of the Trump administration!

Search and rescue operations have now been underway for three days at the site of the Russian strike on a school in the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russians used nine aerial bombs. They first struck people who had come to receive humanitarian aid, and then first responders and police officers who arrived at the scene. All necessary services are involved. It is an extremely difficult operation, very challenging, and it is being carried out under virtually constant threat of new Russian strikes. As of now, 40 people have been reported killed. Unfortunately, some bodies have not yet been identified. My condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed. More than 30 people may still be under the rubble. Unfortunately, there has been very little reaction from the world to this insane attack. But it, like thousands upon thousands of other war crimes Russia has committed against Ukraine and Ukrainians, demands a strong response. Evil always goes further if it is left unanswered. We count on a response – Ukraine needs air defense support right now. I am grateful to the partners who are taking such steps.

If you're voting today in America it's worth remembering that Trump sided with the people who did this.
To understand Russian culture, understand that Russians just dropped nine multi-ton guided bombs on 60 people that had come to a local school to line up for weekly humanitarian aid distribution.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko: The situation with electricity supply in Kyiv is extremely difficult. russia continues to destroy Ukraine's unified power grid. Both power generation and electricity transmission infrastructure have been damaged across the country. In addition, attacks over the past few days have damaged facilities within the Kyiv regional power grid. As a result, Ukrenergo has introduced emergency power cuts. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity. The emergency situation has also disrupted the water supply in the capital and the operation of electric public transport. Kyivvodokanal specialists are working to stabilise pressure in the system and restore water supply. Heating points are being set up in the areas of the city most severely affected by power outages. Residents will be able to charge their phones and other devices and have a cup of hot tea there.

We are not inviting Putin to Kyiv. They came to us without an invitation in 2022. But that’s not why there’s no point in inviting Putin to Kyiv. It’s because he won’t come. The same goes for inviting me to Moscow. What Russia is doing is destructive. It’s simply spitting in the face of the whole world that wants this war to end. That’s why no one will support going to Moscow. As for a phone call, Russia will use it as an excuse to avoid any further meetings. And we understand this game. It leads nowhere. It would just be a very formal, dry phone conversation where I would once again have to listen to a history lecture from the leader of the Russian Federation, rather than hear about real steps to actually end the war. If we want to end the war, we have to meet and take the first step: a ceasefire. From answers to journalists’ questions in Berlin.
