Apparently it's "bad faith" to state facts about current issuance.
And that the only thing preventing any prior issuance from being voided (for arbitrary criteria) is "practicality mainly".

Asked a prominent dev on the discord:
If using SV1 is "attacking" the network, then "why stop at Sept 21?" when invalidating issuance. There are millions of pre-fork coins that are just as "illegitimate".
The answer was "practicality mainly."
That's not exactly reassuring...
XBT created today may be invalidated later.
Not because it's *not* valid issuance today; it can be created *within consensus rules* when issued now.
But consensus/policy will be changing, and if current rewards are deemed "illegitimate" later they're subject to forfeiture.

Yup. Right now the spam is worst on XBT than on spam coin.
The big difference is that we will solve the problem.
We won't sit in a circle jerk asking ourselves what spam is, and pretending fees are the only filter acceptable.
And we sure as fuck won't be wondering if it's censorship or not.
And most importantly, we won't remove a spam filter after a 3 year long ongoing spam attack.
