Funny thing. You might assume from the map that the mass of Canada's population was ~one time zone further west than the US's. It's the other way around: the US centroid (in MO) is about 15° west of Canada's (Newmarket, ON)

Jagmeet's face is stony, his turban glowing under the photographer's lamps in brilliant magenta. With immense dignity, as if there is no mob, he bends to the red Nike duffel, unzips. The crowd bays anxiously as Jagmeet reaches, grasps. It's another Jagmeet! A miniature Jagmeet, a squirming baby with his same fierce face and pink turban. The crowd is chastened, stunned.
