Just been to a local one in Kensington & they're working flat-out due to the closure of many doctor's surgeries - yet they have dangerously little PPE.

I have trained up my counter assistant (the ‘girl on the till’) over several months so that she is now able to safely sell medicines over the counter and know when to refer to the pharmacist (the ‘pretend doctor’) #whatwedoinpharmacy @thismorning

Recently I liaised with a local GP to make sure a medication change that had been made in hospital was actioned for a patient so that she didn’t run out of her new tablets. This would NOT have happened had I not intervened #whatwedoinpharmacy @thismorning @laulok
