Aight so i get this, but there are reasons for this - Some that won't be immediately obvious until you play it yourself, like i have. There is customization tho, just not a full fledged creator (i haven't tried customization so i can't say much here) When it comes to comments about "no aliens" - Technically there are none (so far). But if you've taken a single glance at the Exodus Encyclopedia pages, for example, you'd see that there are definitely Alien looking creatures, like the Mara Yama Celestials or Changelings. Changelings are definitely what i would classify as "Alien" because as much as they are evolved from Humans, they're so different and strange that even Turians, Krogan, Salarians and Asari are MORE humanlike than Exodus' Changelings. That is to say, you're DEFINITELY not gonna want to bang some of these (but that won't stop some of us from trying) Finally - Archetype are not decidedly making a Mass Effect successor. The similarities are there, obviously, because the DNA is there with some of the devs. But it's US as a community that has built up this idea of Exodus being a "Mass Effect spiritual successor". And again, because of some of the similarities, this was unavoidable. What i'm trying to say is this: You can look at Exodus as possibly another home - But it will never replace Mass Effect because it ISN'T Mass Effect. It is very much its own thing. It's like a younger cousin to Mass Effect, whom you'll have to give time to grow into something you love. But will it? Time will tell. I hope this clarifies some stuff :)

as someone who's actually played the game - seeing the new Jun has reignited my desire to play Exodus again (not that it ever faded) that said, this has made me THAT much more impatient to see Female Jun 🫠 no pressure, Archetype!

Exodus devs literally redesigning Juns face from the ground up was NOT on my bingo card, but man is it good to see this. Archetype are such cool people, and no matter what you may think of the player characters appearance, this just shows how much they're listening & willing to work with the community 🤝

Wait a sec... Amazon is still making the TV-show. The TV-show is confirmed to be set after Mass Effect 3. Amazon wants to expand more into games (they're co-financing Tomb Raider) What if... nah, no way. Or maybe? Is it possible? Are you guys thinking what i'm thinking?

I remember walking into Gamestop & discovering Mass Effect for the first time. It was almost sold out, only a few copies left in the store. I used up whatever allowance I had, took the bus home and started it up on my good ol' Xbox. That's how I'll remember Bioware. The studio that gave us one of the greatest adventures, ever. To all the devs affected by this: I truly hope you guys land on your feet. Godspeed.
