The result of faith is peace. When we learn to trust in the creator of our souls we can find rest in our lives. Even when we face trying circumstances, we may grieve but we don’t crumble because of the strength of the one that lives inside us. Go in peace today.
Staying grounded in God's word is essential to a strong faith that withstands floodwaters. But it's also essential to apply what you have learned to your life. With a firm faith you can weather any storm when it comes your way in life.
The world is loud & we’re often distracted by the noise. It claims our attention & demands our participation. That’s why we need to actively seek out the quiet moments rarely found in the chaos of family life or the busyness of work. We find God in the stillness.
Suffering is a part of God’s plan. This is a really tough truth to accept. We all want to avoid hardship but God uses these seasons to refine us. He does not waste our pain. He uses it for HIS GLORY!
God sees us as friends! He has redeemed us from the role of “slave” and elevated us to friend, child, chosen, and loved. Declare these truths over your life today. Walk in the reality that you are a friend of God.
Trusting in God puts your ❤️ at ease because you no longer have to worry. Placing your faith in Him relieves all doubt & uncertainty about the future. Don’t be afraid of what other people may do. The effects of their actions are temporary in comparison to spending eternity w/ God
Remember God has a beautiful plan for you. Simply do your best in the things that you know & lean on God for the worries that are out of your control. God may not give you your version of a perfect day tomorrow, but have faith that He has bigger plans for you in due time.
You know the feeling you get when you start to worry? Anxiety rises up inside and the situation consumes your thoughts. We try to deal with it ourselves, but this behavior is not glorifying to God. Worry and stress reveal your doubt in God’s will.
Guard Your Heart.
It can be easy for our heart to be deceived if we lack awareness.
The best solution is to surround ourselves w/ Godly people & listen to their advice, as it's difficult to see deception ourselves.
Do you ever feel vulnerable or afraid that your response to someone who aggravates you may lead you away from righteousness? Don’t face life’s battles unprotected. Put on God’s armor; truth, righteousness, peace, faith & salvation.
Be mindful of the company you keep. The people around you influence your thoughts, choices, and character. Are you spending time with those who encourage you to become a better person and grow closer to God? Choose faithful companions who strengthen, challenge, and uplift you.
Deception is powerful because you don't realize it's happening. Sometimes we think we're doing something good, such as working feverishly to earn extra money for a bigger house, a newer car or more savings.
We can be confronted with the choice to trust God or lean on our own understanding. Trust God with all of our hearts. We are to fully surrender to God, even if our situation seems uncertain or things do not go the way we planned.
Thank God for being our loving Guide who perfectly protects us life from paths that only seem right to human eyes. We are grateful for the reassuring presence of His Holy Spirit & the gift of internal peace that serves as my umpire.
