A recently discovered lost film reel with footage dating back to Halloween 1960 contains disturbing evidence that a young Michael Myers was once a subject of the Silver Shamrock Corporation’s top-secret experiments, conducted under the codename PROJECT SHAMROCK.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

"MADE IN HONG KONG: VOLUME 1 is a two-disc collection of little-seen Hong Kong horror from the late ‘90s, packed with special features. It includes The Demon’s Baby (1998), a gory slice of supernatural terror centered on the mayhem unleashed when evil spirits are accidentally set free, impregnate women, and possess their fetuses—who then develop a taste for human flesh. Similar in tone, Erotic Nightmare (1999) is a later entry in the black magic subgenre about an evil sorcerer who gives his clients erotic dreams with a fatal twist. Finally, The Deadly Camp (1999) is a riff on the slasher about friends who unknowingly go camping on an island inhabited by maniacs."
