@uksheetmetal, Greenfield Engineering Sheet Metal Ltd , based in Holsworthy, Devon was founded by Frank & Michelle Green in 1989 and currently operates 2 manufacturing sites of over 80,000 ft² with 100 employees. Sons Richard and Daniel, company directors, have continued to invest in Amada UK Ltd equipment, pushing the company further ahead. One of the latest installations is an EML-AJe punch/laser combination machine with automatic tool changer and full automation.
Daniel Green explained: “Choosing the EML-AJe was an easy decision. It had to deliver elevated levels of flexibility in production that would give considerable efficiency gains. We also integrated an RMP 3015-NTK sheet load / part picking system, removing secondary tasks for a more efficient production flow”.
